A Standard Home Inspection takes approximately three hours and may vary depending on the amount of questions you have.
The Home Inspection is an educational process and you are encouraged to be present.
Should you not be able to attend, the Inspector will contact you after the Inspection to go over the report with you.
Payment is due upon completion of the home inspection.
The method of payment can be in the form of a cheque, MasterCard, Visa or cash.
Yes. The Inspector will go on the roof if the weather conditions allow him to.
If there is a safety issue due to the weather or condition of the roof, he will not be able to access it.
He will also go in the crawlspace and in the attic if it is accessible.
Please Note; The inspection is non-intrusive. This means the attic and/or crawlspace must be accessible.
The inspector is not allowed to pull nails to gain access to attics or crawlspace.
Yes, we Inspect Septic Systems and are licensed through the M.M.A.H.
A Septic Inspection is not included in a Standard Home Inspection however. It is an additional

We do not inspect wells. Please contact our office for a list of reputable professionals that provide this service.
No, we do not take water samples. You can obtain a water sample by going to your local health unit or hospital and picking
up a water sample bottle. After taking the sample, be sure to keep it cool and have it back to your local health unit within 24 hours.
We do not inspect pools, water softeners, sprinkler systems or alarm systems.
No! the inspector WILL NOT do the repairs. This is considered a conflict of interest.

The inspector can give you a ball park figure, but not a quote or a guaranteed cost.

We cannot definitively tell through a visual inspection. We can however, identify material that looks suspicious and can send a sample
to a lab for testing. Lab results are usually obtained within a couple of days. Additional
